We were getting warnings from npm such as
These stemmed from the rimraf package being quite out of date. So this PR updates rimraf and a few other deps to newer versions to remove these warnings.
Notably, I've upgraded
typescriptto the latest version, but this broke some tests that were using deprecated compiler functions (createLiteral). This has been fixed.ttypescripthas been replaced withts-patchwhich does the same thing but works with the new TypeScript version, andts-nameofhas been replaced with@typescript-nameof/nameoffor the same reason.
